Located in Nanakuli on the Leeward Coast of Oahu, Leeward Kai Canoe Club has been teaching the cultural tradition of Hawaiian outrigger canoe paddling since 1967. The club focuses on preserving wa'a (canoe) culture and providing local youth and families with a structured environment to learn paddling techniques, ocean safety, and teamwork.
