About
Operating out of Honolulu, Outrigger Volleyball Club is a nationally competitive youth athletic program run under the umbrella of the historic Outrigger Canoe Club. The program is dedicated to developing student-athletes from 6th through 12th grade into technically proficient players, disciplined teammates, and balanced leaders. The curriculum centers on high-level indoor volleyball court mechanics, tactical positioning, and year-round beach volleyball conditioning at the dedicated club facilities. Coaches maintain a rigorous, structured environment that blends intensive local training blocks with exposure to elite mainland competition, preparing local youth for advanced scholastic play and national recruiting pipelines. ### Program Highlights * **Age Groups:** Fields boys' competitive club rosters across multiple brackets from 12-and-under divisions up to 18U senior high school lines. * **Season & Schedule:** Conducts regular indoor season practices from September through July, incorporating an explicit competitive break from mid-January to mid-May to accommodate the local high school boys' volleyball season. * **Key Features:** Provides players access to premium training facilities including regular court gymnasiums, dedicated sand courts, and comprehensive weight rooms, while offering specialized athletic membership frameworks.
